Master Education SNE

This site is the home of the Dutch Master education in System and Network Engineering (SNE) of the Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA). For the program of the education we refer to the Info pages in the Navigation menu, specifically the "Master SNE" information page.

What does OS3 stand for?

OS3 stands for Open Standards, Open Software (which extends Open Source) and Open Security. Together these three components define Open Technology. Our education is based on Open Technology, because this is the only way for students to get real insight into a field and to obtain an academic view on relevant matters. This in contrast to educations where programs are based on volatile, product specific tracks, which at best give operational knowledge with a short lifetime.
